Reminder to HCMA members who are registered with DEA: June 27 is a key date. After this date, whether you are renewing or this is your first registration with the DEA, you will be required to have completed eight-hours of CME training in prescribing or the treatment of opioid or other substance use disorders. The eight-hour course requirement must be completed only once and it does not have to be repeated.
